Dear me there's a lot of dust blowing around this little old site of mine!!

I really must get this thing up and running again. Firstly taking off the commenting as ewwwww! spamalicious or what?

I think I'm going to have to declutter. I think I'm just going to get rid of the whole fanlisting stuff as I just takes too long to maintain. My trading card game has been dead forever... Photo gallery, that can go...
I'll try and sort out my fanvideo and blend sites as at least they have some decent content.

And possibly a new layout... but I like this one so much!
I have a feeling this could turn into a very archery orientated blog if I'm not careful!

Eeeep! I last blogged in March?! Oh dear, I have been slacking haven't I...

Ok, in an attempt to not turn this blog into an archery blog, only this paragraph will concern me achievments in the sport. Yes, I have been wooping a lot of ass. I was first novice female on the Isle of Man tour, first female novice AND first experienced female at the last BUTTS leg, first novice and first experienced female at the recent club comp and tenth at outdoor BUSA (bad day... ). I now also hold (I think) 5 novice club records and two experienced.

I realise that not a lot of people read this... but I guess I don't care all that much. I will endeavour to get all the sites I've been working on up and running over summer. More fanvids, more blends, more icons. Hopefully I'll make some kind of impact with something I do.

Summer is going to be busy. I go on holiday to the south of France with my family next monday for 10 days. I'm back for about 4 days, then I'm flying off to Switzerland to stay with my boyfriend for an action packed week and a bit of canoeing and archery. Hopefully then I have 3 weeks of very little followed by Guide camp. If I get my act together I will also be swanning off in September to take down tents for Eurocamp or some other such company. And then back to uni for the 2nd of October! Phew

Woooo! I got a first class for the first year of my degree!

w00t! I got my nice shiny new (ok, partly second-hand) bow and its the bestest! I love it to bits and it has improved my shooting. So much so that the third time I shoot it, which happened to be the BUSA Indoor Championships, I broke 500! Got 515 to be exact, completely trashing the previous Warwick female novice record of 467. And I got a shiny bronze medal for my efforts. Ok, I was 3 points off a medal in the individual rankings (3 points!! , for the last two years anything above 500 would have guaranteed a novice medal! ) but overall the Warwick novice team came 3rd. Go team!!

Yesterday was another big competition: the BUTC. You have to be really good to get into the team for that one (I'm not nearly good enough... yet! ) My uni was hosting it as well. It also happened to be the day term ended and everyone was moving out (oops didn't mention; I'm home!). I popped over and had a quick look. I could have volunteered to help but being the quite shy person I am I decided not to. Anyways the main point of this paragraph: Warwick A team got bronze!!! It's brilliant for the university (improved on our 6th place last year) and Thom was on the team! I'm so proud and I hear he shot really well. I'll have to bug him for all the details whenever he reappears. (14 hour drive home he's mad!)

I really feel in the mood for making fanvids but before I can I need to sort out my laptop. It keeps running slow, I only have about 5gb, and I think the fan is really clogged with dust... I'm going to reformat It sounds drastic, but there is so much junk on here I don't need (thanks Dell for your wonderfully useful preinstalled programs... ). Before I do any of that I need to invest in a portable hard-drive to house all the stuff I do want to keep. It'll make it much easier to do vids in the future with a lot more disk space for the clips.

I also need to sort out my fanart. I was fiddling with the gallery layout but it seems it looked right on the uni network but not from here wierd. Also need to get a plug-in/hack to view the blends properly I think...

So I guess I'll get all that done over Easter. Revision... what revision?
